01What These Are

Hue targeted density tools built the way print film behaves: colors get deeper and richer instead of louder. Engineered from chart measurement, not eyeballed presets, with neutrals and skin protected at every strength. Density runs inside the grade in DaVinci Wide Gamut, where the image still has range, and the four diagnostics sit on a timeline node reading whatever is below them. These are the exact tools running on our commercial work.

DensitySeven vectors in one node: red, yellow, green, cyan, blue, magenta and global, plus skin preserve.
Skin CheckShows you exactly where skin sits, live on the image: yellow on the line, green or magenta the moment it drifts.
Contrast ZonesYour tonal balance in flat luma bands, monochrome or zoned, with clip warnings at both ends.
Heat MapExposure false color on industry conventions: mid gray, skin, near clip and crushed shadows at a glance.
Sat MapA saturation readout of the whole image. Zebras on colors running hot, a cool wash where the image drains.

For You If

You grade in Resolve Studio and know your way around a node tree.

You want film density without stacking six plugins to fake it.

You care about skin staying clean while everything around it gets pushed.

Not For You If

You run the free version of Resolve. DCTLs require Studio, no way around it. The Film LUTs work everywhere though.

You want one click looks. These are instruments, not filters. If that's the goal, the LUTs are your product.
